HONDA IS PERFECTED WITH THE 2016 CR-V


Honda Canada conducted last week with the presentation of the new CR-V 2016 journalists from the Quebec press. Marketing since last September, the latest edition of Japanese SUV offers consumers several new features.

Most of these changes were made to the exterior aesthetics of the CR-V. Honda has remodeled his SUV through, among other things, a new grille and new headlights with LED lights and a new error free led turn signal light that give a more sporty look to the vehicle. The Japanese manufacturer also offers three different finishes of headlights, one for editing Touring, one for the EX-L Publishing, EX and SE, and another for the base LX edition. Some adjustments were also made to the rear of the CR-V now features a chrome strip that runs its entire tailgate.

The interior of the CR-V as it enjoys some changes with a new touch screen, new finishing materials and a new console that provides space for storage of smart phones. Honda has also added new visor that can be dragged 95 mm to block light from windows on the side.

Honda even offers time this year a 4-cylinder engine with i-VTEC 2.4L develops 185 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque, compared to 163 lb-ft of torque for the model 2014. The CR-V is now provided a new transmission, while the automatic 5-speed gearbox was replaced by a CVT transmission.

This new combination brings a net improvement in the fuel consumption of the Japanese SUV. The FWD models now have a combined consumption of 7.8 L / 100 km from 9.1 L / 100 km in 2014, while 4WD models offer a combined consumption of 8.3 L / 100 km against 9,4L / 100 km for the previous year.

Honda Sensing

The Japanese automotive manufacturer offers the Touring edition with the group Honda Sensing safety equipment. This includes among others the adaptive cruise control, the Lane Change Warning with automated using the lane-keeping and a forward collision warning with automatic braking. This system allows in addition to spot pedestrians and activate the brakes to avoid a possible impact when driving less than 60 km / h.

Other facilities and options that are offered by the five different editions of the CR-V, we find the button to start the Intelligent Key detection system, the tailgate opening and closing electrically, alloy wheels 17 and 18 inches and a rearview camera.

Performance and appreciation

I had the chance to drive the vehicle on winding and hilly roads in the region of Esterel in the Laurentians. The SUV has answered the call. Driving is nice, the interior is rather silent, while the engine and transmission respond well to the request. However, I found that the suspension was somewhat lacking bite. Although the interior of the CR-V is welcoming and there is ample space in the front and rear of the vehicle, I'm not sure that I would stop my choice on this SUV if I was many hours on the road, as a sales representative for example. The absence of armrest for the driver's seat as well as the hardness of the armrest in the front and rear doors are the main reasons. Nevertheless, the CR-V remains an excellent choice in its category.


The CR-V LX base is available from $ 25,990 while the Touring edition is sold from 35 $ 450.

2011 Citroen C5 LED Day time Running Light Upgrade

One month ago, this Citroen C5 owner came to our store, planning to replace a set of LED day time running light as one of stock light was broken. Here is the picture we are upgrading the lights, this time we are featuring the Citroen C5 DRL with our 5050 normal led bulbs . Citroen C5 is a large family car produced by the French manufacturer Citroen since early 2001. It is classy and sporty, with the characters of French cars. Honestly said, it is a difficult thing to replace the DRL, we should remove front bumper and headlamp, swap out the stock bulb and replace a new one. Hard process but happy ending. These 5050 SMD normal LED light work pretty well on 2011 Citroen C5, no computer error and you can definitely see the brightness. If replace 5050 SMD CANBus LED light , it will brighter double.

The Best LED headlight System on Dodge Journey

I own my Journey for harf of year, everything is good, but the headlight. The lighting is really terrible at night. While I drive on suburb area without road lights helping, I can clearly  see only four or five meter on front of me . New LED headlight upgraded today is amazing and surprised me. Not only on lighting, but also on ID. Better too much than OEM headlamp.
